330th District Court. She is seeking re-election to that bench in 2010.

• Judge Lewis was appointed by Gov. Rick Perry to fill the un-expired term of Judge Theo Bedard. She was sworn in on September 2, 2002.
• Judge Lewis was elected in 2002, winning by 27,000 votes.
• Judge Lewis was the only family court judge to run unopposed in 2006.
• Judge Lewis has consistently received high ratings in the Dallas Bar Judicial Evaluation poll.
